About the role
Here at Homefield Road Vets, we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. You will carry out general nursing duties including clinics, anaesthesia, and patient care. There is scope for individuals to develop their own area of interest and nurses are encouraged to make use of their skills. All levels of experience are considered, RVN qualification required.
We would love to welcome a Nurse on a full-time rota for 39.5 hours per week over 3.5 to 4 days however we are open to speaking to part time candidates looking to fit their career. The shift times are between 8am and 7pm, with a shared Saturday morning rota and one weeknight on call.

We are looking for someone who is a good team player and passionate about high clinical standards and first-class patient care and a good communicator. The candidate will need to be able to work well as a part of the team and we would welcome either an experienced nurse or someone at an earlier stage of their career.

Homefield Road Veterinary Practice was opened in February 2009 and is a modern, comfortable, and welcoming surgery that was purpose built to accommodate our customers and their pets.
The hospital has a full in-house lab, separate isolation, cat and dog wards and a separate orthopaedic theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy.
Our other branch situated in the village of Hawkedon, Bury St Edmunds. We treat all types of domestic animals and have a dedicated equine clinic for our horse clients.

Training and progression are greatly supported and many of the clinical staff hold or are working towards further qualifications, meaning we benefit from a wide range of specialities.
