Our practice is set in the Shropshire market town of Bewdley with beautiful walks along the river and lovely scenery.We are looking for an enthusiastic RVN with good communication skills, a genuine dedication to animal care and initiative. As a Team Leader, your role will include both clinical and managerial duties and responsibilities. This role would be an excellent opportunity for the development of a qualified veterinary nurse looking to progress.Clinical duties include but are not limited to: nurse clinics, surgical patient preparation monitoring and aftercare, schedule 3 procedure, clinical coaching, inpatient care, cleaning and maintaining of the clinical areas and equipment with the assistance of patient care assistants.Managerial duties include but are not limited to: arranging and leading interactive practice meetings, creating staff rotas, leading clinical inductions, managing holidays and CPD, performing monthly 1:1s with the clinical team (nurses and patient care assistants), creating personal development plans with the nursing team, charging audits, equipment maintenance, lab maintenance, controlled medication audits, head of dispensary.This is a full-time role working 8:30am-6:30pm Tuesday to Friday with 1 hour lunch, and 1 in 4 Saturdays 8.30am – 12.00pm.Salary is up to £30,000, dependent on experience, plus a generous benefits package.To submit an online application, click Apply Now, upload your CV and we'll be in touch.
