Parenting Assessment Centre Manager - Lancashire

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a vibrant Parenting Assessment Centre (PAC) in Lancashire.
About the Role:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the PAC. You will lead a dedicated team of social worker and family support workers and ensure the smooth running of assessments for families going through child protection proceedings.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the delivery of high-quality parenting assessments in line with national standards.
- Leading and motivating a team of social workers, providing support and ensuring their professional development.
- Ensuring the Centre operates effectively and efficiently, within budget constraints.
- Upholding robust safeguarding procedures and promoting a positive safeguarding culture.
- Representing the Centre at meetings with external agencies.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives.
About You:
- You are a qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England (SWE).
- You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior social work management role, ideally within a residential setting.
- You possess a strong understanding of parenting assessments and relevant legislation.
- You are a confident and effective leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are passionate about safeguarding children and young people.
- You are a strong advocate for social justice and equality.
- You are a Registered Manager (RM) with demonstrable experience in managing staff and resources.
