PEGlobal Healthcare is looking for a Registered Nursing home manager for a pretigious company based in Manchester�



We provide an alternative to hospital life for individuals with chronic and treatment-resistant mental illnesses. Functions






  • As a�Care Quality Commission (CQC) Registered Manager�you will be expected to be in day-to-day management of one or more�regulated activities.




  • The company expects the post holder to be responsible for ensuring that the overall quality of service is compliant with the highest-level CQC rating possible and that the home is always prepared for inspections and audits.

  • The home must achieve the minimum of a GOOD rating from the Care Quality Commission and that other regulatory visits from the Local Authority, Infection control, Environmental Health and our Stakeholders and Funders etc.

  • Registered managers�are also expected to have a strategic overview of their company which includes having short- and long-term goals in place. They should market the services and carry out all�business functions�which includes costing services and having an awareness of the impact of changes such as legislation,�market, and labour forces. sustainable



Role Specific Duties:




  • To undertake the role and associated functions of the Registered Manager (this will involve being registered at CQC)

  • You will hold accountability and responsibility and for the service 24/7, 365 days a year. In your absence you must organise suitable cover and on-call.

  • You will develop, manage, and have oversight of the service and all regulated activity on site.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring that the service is run well and safely, and that they are compliant with service regulations and standards.�

  • Should your service fall below the acceptable standard or cause concern, this may affect you job role and remuneration, this measure may be either a temporary or permanent arrangement.

  • We expect you to be present and host all CQC Inspections, regulatory visits, audits, and reviews of the service. These visits must not be delegate without prior arrangement and permission from a director.



General Responsibilities:




  • Uphold and implement the Company's aims, objectives, and philosophy.

  • Adhere to Company Company's policies and procedures. Be familiar with the staff handbook.

  • Adhere to the Company's Quality Assurance and Health and Safety programme. Complete Audits within set timescales and generate action plans. Complete outstanding actions within set timescales.

  • In accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008, the post holder will actively participate in the prevention and control of infection within the capacity of their role.

  • Develop and maintain own professional network



Person Specification�




  • Relevant 1st Level Registered Nurse qualification (RMN/RGN)

  • Hold a valid NMC PIN

  • Qualifications in Management, e.g.

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (part of the ���QCF system)

  • Vocational qualification Level 4 in Leadership and Management for Care Services

  • Vocational qualification Level 4 in Health and Social Care

  • Good English - written and verbal
