An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional low secure hospital based in the Ayr, Scotland area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providersThis special mental health service is a low secure hospital for males and females with mental illness and/or personality disorders**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**As a Nurse your key duties include:Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorderDeveloping therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagementFollowing all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practiceContributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progressAt a more senior level, you'll also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the teamThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:Excellent team working skillsA high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practiceThe drive to continually push your own personal learning and developmentAble to show a can-do attitude alwaysThe successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary £31,900 - £37,455 per annum.
