Job title: RMN Prison Nurse
Band: 6
Location: Bicester
37.5 hours a week, 5 days a week.

Salary: £28 Day, £35 Night & Saturday, £45 Sundays and bank Holidays

This job is to work at a prison in Bicester. Experience working in a secure setting is essential with indate prison vetting/clearance.
You will need to have a considerable experience or working in the mental health field, counselling techniques, CBT, motivational interviewing, Ability to hold a complex caseload.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the nursing team, you are expected to demonstrate attitudinal competences through a professional, approachable, and helpful manner towards clients, their families and carers, visitors and colleagues throughout the organisation. You are also expected to actively support high standards of care delivery and challenge poor practice should you find it.
Clinical Skills and Knowledge
* Engage proactively engagement with clients and their families/carers/significant others to build positive working alliances.
* Work alongside clients and their families/carers/significant others.
* Assess needs embracing the wishes of the client in the acute patient setting.
* Make a systematic and comprehensive assessment/ re-assessment of client need within the CPA framework to take account of all aspects of the client's life, including.
