Forest Care Selection are currently working in partnership with a national care provider, that operates several specialist hospitals and care homes. Their services cater for adults with a wide range of specialist requirements, including mental health conditions, acquired brain injuries and personality disorders.
They have an exciting new job opportunity for a Registered Manager to work at their brand-new specialist service, based in South London. The service will cater for clients with either a neurodegenerative condition, mental health diagnosis, acquired brain injury or physical disability.�
The Registered Manager based in South London will:
- Be responsible for the day-to-day running of the services and coordinating its operations.
- Manage and ensure the smooth running of the service.
- Train, induct and conduct appraisals for staff members.
- Ensure all statutory requirements are being met within the service.�
- Ensure service users are provided with the best possible care.
- Market the home and support with increasing occupancy levels�
To be considered for the Registered Manager post in South London, you will need:
- Previous experience working as a Registered Manager in a mental health setting, either Rehab, low secure or forensic.
- To have a good understanding of the Mental Health Act and any relevant legislation applicable to mental health.�
- Knowledge of the rehabilitation and recovery service pathway, however this is not essential.
- Excellent people management skills, including supervision, carrying out appraisals and conflict resolution.
- Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management or equivalent
- A nurse qualification with a current PIN is preferred, but not essential
