About the Role:

As the Registered Manager, you will spearhead a devoted team in transforming houses into warm, inviting homes for the children under our care. Your guidance will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the children receive top-notch care, positive role models, and a genuine sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dual Children's Homes.
  • Facilitate and lead support for children in both planned and emergency placements, prioritising child involvement.
  • Ensure compliance with the 'Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015' and uphold quality standards for registration and inspection.
  • Drive positive outcomes for children through effective leadership, continuous improvement, and evidence-based measures.
  • Manage all aspects of the homes, delivering innovative and responsive child-focused services.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a team, ensuring optimal staffing levels and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish a secure and positive environment, including the physical upkeep of the homes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Registered Manager position or 3 years in a Deputy Manager position within children's residential care.
  • Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Possess a FULL UK driving licence.
  • Candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations.
