A new providerand operator of Ofsted registered childrens homes based in the South of England is looking for a Registered Manager to be part of the registration process and help establish and manage the first home located in Erith, a 3-4 bed home for young people aged 8-17 with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH), including those with mild learning disabilities (MLD).

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest quality of care and support. Your experience will ideally come with the Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent or a full commitment to complete the qualification (financial support will be provided for this).

As the Registered Manager of the 1st home, you will share their commitment to allow children to feel loved and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives.You will be part of our exciting journey to provide safe nests to vulnerable children in our care across the country.

Your responsibilities will include:
Working closely with the leadership team to drive successful registration with Ofsted including significant input into recruitment, systems, and policies & procedures.
Managing and overseeing daily operations of the home.
Providing leadership and supervision to your team.
Developing and implementing high-quality care plans and risk assessments to keep our children safe and happy.
Ensuring compliance with Ofsted and Local Authority requirements.
Were looking for a Registered Manager with the following:
Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures. -
Significant experience of working within a similar setting and managing Ofsted inspections.
Have preferably already obtained the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or are committed to achieving the qualification (financial support will be provided).
Ideally hold a full UK driving license.
