Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 (DOE) plus Amazing Benefits

Location: North London

We have a wonderful opportunity for a Registered Care Manager looking for a new adventure in North London

As the RCM, you would be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a 7 bed Residential Service, and a 9 Bed Supported Living unit, which specialise in the support of those with learning disability and/or complex needs.

Both sites are a short 15-minute drive between one another. Parking in available on-site in both locations.

Experience and Qualifications

* Minimum of three years’ experience of working with people with a learning disabilities and/or complex needs in a Residential and Supportive Living setting

* Minimum 3 years plus experience of managing services.

* A relevant Health or Social Care Managerial Qualification with good literacy, numeracy, report writing, administrative and organisational skills.

* Current CQC service rating good or above

Skills, Knowledge, Aptitude

* Dynamic and self- motivated, with the ability to work without direct supervision with using pro- active problem-solving approach.

* Achieve CQC minimum “Good” rating. Health and Safety, local authority recruitment legislation and regulations, policy and procedures to a high level.

* Ensure all residents have a dynamic support plan which involves the person and their safety.

* Good understanding of Social care and Accommodation services.

* Proven leadership skills. To lead and direct the day-to-day operational management of the homes, and resources effectively.

* Recruit, lead and motivate the staff team to reach the highest standards of practice.

* Ability to relate and support people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

* Proven budget and/or financial management, including filling voids.

* Ability to self-audit the services, in line with legislation and policies.

* Able to liaise and establish quality working relationships with the families and professionals,

* Computer literate

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to respond positively to pressure.

* Satisfactory Health/Attendance record.

* Calm, confident manner, flexible approach. Sense of humour.

* Full Driving licence desirable but not a necessity
