We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Senior Operations Manager to join our new team based in Nottingham.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, The Regional Senior Operations Manager will be directly responsible for the medium term operational, financial, compliance and growth performance within agreed geographical boundaries. Working closely with the Contract Managers and the Operational teams the focus of this role is to act as a bridge between the strategic and operational outputs at a regional level.

£4200 annual car allowance
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday

Other duties include:
Take ownership of revenue, cost and margin performance across all in-scope contracts
Work closely with contract managers to set deliverable financial targets on a monthly and annual basis.
Build and develop positive senior level relationships across the region to ensure that all existing contracts are defended when re-tendered.
Ensure a strong understanding of tender pipelines within the local geographical area and develop plans with the Business development team to create positive client relationships in advance of any tender process.
Work closely with the Contract Managers to ensure that they have the fully support required to deliver an effective service on a day-to-day basis, including balancing the delivery of contractual KPI’s against the realities of the current operational environment.
Maintain a focus on the medium-term output to ensure that any potential pressure points are fully considered, and mitigated, before they impact the service outputs.
Take fully accountability for your regions people, their safety, performance and development
Drive quality and regulatory compliance across the region and ensure it remains at the forefront of the operational approach.
Work closely with the Quality and Compliance team to assess the quality and governance performance at a regional level. Ensure that any identified areas of risk and effectively managed.
Do you have what it takes?
A minimum of five years’ experience within a management level role, where you have delivered business improvements or organisational change which has had a demonstrable positive impact on your team, or service delivery.
KPI driven, with a passion for improving and delivering on targets.
Previous experience with building successful strategies, both short and long-term.
Significant experience of managing and influencing staff, clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to build strong, effective relationships with staff, clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
Experience with managing Employee Relations issues.
Meticulously organised with a proven track record of successfully reaching deadlines.
Previous PTS experience would be preferred, but not essential.
