For this role, the ideal candidate must bring prior experience in the eDiscovery industry, legal industry, or compliance as a successful business developer. Success in this role is determined by your capacity to establish and maintain an active sales pipeline, effectively identify and address client needs related to our service offerings, and maintain a comprehensive log of meetings with both current and potential clients.
The preferred candidate will possess a strong sales background along with a solid grasp of eDiscovery processes, tools, and technologies. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing strong client relationships, and consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Formulate and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Identify, assess, and foster new business opportunities by targeting prospective clients while maintaining existing relationships.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the eDiscovery process, encompassing the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), legal and regulatory prerequisites, and pertinent technologies and tools.
Exhibit knowledge of Relativity.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and fellow team members.
Continuously enhance and update personal knowledge of eDiscovery tools, technologies, and best practices, including developing a profound understanding of proprietary tools.
Requirements:
Possess a degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in eDiscovery or legal technology sales.
Demonstrate a track record of proven success in a sales role, preferably within the eDiscovery or legal technology sector.
In-depth knowledge of eDiscovery processes, including the EDRM, legal and regulatory requirements, and associated tools and technologies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated achievement of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Possess excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to build and sustain robust client relationships.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with Salesforce and the Microsoft Office Suite.
