The Regional Sales Manager�will be responsible for the sales and promotion of a to be agreed range of heavy equipment product lines in a to-be-defined sales territory in the South West of England and along the M4 corridor.�The role is not office based, rather a mobile field sales role, and will involve daily, on the road, travel to and from customer and prospective sites, with only occasional requirements to meet with management.



Product groups: Crushing, Screening, Trommels, Shredders, Material Handlers, Conveyors, Grinders, and a wide range of hydraulic attachments



Market focus: Quarrying, Demoltion, Recyling, Scrap & Construction



The potential customer base for the Regional Sales Manager�will comprise of both existing clients and accounts in the defined territory, but any new starter will also be responsible for prospecting and developing new potential sales accounts in the territory. Said accounts and prospective accounts will range from large Blue Chip Multinational Entities to smaller scale, owner operated, family businesses. Full on the job, and manufacturer led, training on the relevant product lines will be provided.



Any successful candidate will have relevant sales and industry experience and will be required to live within the sales territory agreed. It will be necessary for them to have a full and valid UK or Irish driving licence, as well as a valid passport for some international travel for training and trade show events. A basic level of IT knowledge will also be necessary, primarily for maintaining and operating a basic CRM system and for the purposes of working with very basic IT functions such as E-Mail, Microsoft Works, and Excel.
