Whatever your heart’s desire – in the BMW Group, you will find a wide range of departments and disciplines across the world where you can share your professional passion with us.The Regional Portfolio Manager - part time (up to 30 hours) role will be responsible for the holistic and forward-looking development and management of a future-proof real estate portfolio of the BMW Group in the region, taking into account the global real estate strategy.What awaits you?Perform regular analyses of the real estate portfolio, examine and evaluate the potentials of individual properties, monitor changes according to the targets for the region and intervene in the event of deviations in a controlling manner.Initiate project developments in the portfolio and align the region's real estate portfolio in the medium to long term according to real estate strategic guidelines and objectives (e.g. areas, use, costs, sustainability) and develop adequate property strategies.Check user requirements in the early phase in comparison with the regional objective for feasibility in the inventory and make recommendations for further procedures.Define portfolio-strategic premises and frames for solutions and pass them on to relevant interface partners.Prepare proposals (incl. business case) with regional relevance for optimising the real estate portfolio for the relevant committees and circles and reports regularly.Ensure the quality of reports and regional portfolio and real estate-related data (completeness & correctness) and initiate adjustments if necessary.Support central portfolio management in process optimisations and input region specific additions when needed.Examine portfolio-relevant financial aspects for the PI-Operated regional real estate portfolio and make recommendations regarding the allocation of funds.What should you bring along?Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret the most complex legal & business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to top management and/or external partners. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key interface partners, top management, and external partners to take desired action.Advanced computer software application (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and Internet navigational skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret lease and legal documents. Requires in-depth knowledge of lease terminology and principles.
