Job Purpose
The Regional Operations Manager is accountable for all aspects of site delivery to ensure that projects are delivered in a safe manner, on time, on budget and to the required quality standards.
The above will involve overseeing a program of works associated with our current framework contracts with both Severn Trent Water and Northumbrian Water.
The individual fulfilling this role should have a proven track record in overseeing construction contracts from “cradle to grave”.
Reporting to the Structural refurbishment General Manager, the Regional/Contracts Manager will maintain regular communication around the key aspects of site delivery including, project progress, resources and performance against client requirements. .
You will support a team of varying skills and experience to ensure that productivity is always maintained onsite.
They will work collaboratively to set clear expectations around project delivery and ensure that the work force is motivated and on programme.
You will understand the fundamental onsite delivery costs and will work within set budgets ensuring accurate commercial reporting. Leadership with clear and concise communication with all is paramount to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of projects on site.
As the Regional Operations Manager based in England you will be the key responsible person for managing and growing our business in England.
All persons working on our current framework contracts in England will report to you.
It will be your responsibility to manage the workforce and ensure that the companies’ values, and behaviors are being followed.
Key Accountabilities
Accountable for running multiple sites at any one time
Ensure sites are established/set-up to the correct standards • Maintain accurate site records of work carried out and resources used
Maintain regular communication with the Site Agent/Project Manager on site progress
Ensure that all site forms and procedures are being followed with respect to H&S & Quality
Accountable for ensuring that the site always remains productive and efficient
Ensure RAMS remains relevant onsite and are reviewed as required
Identify defects onsite and ensure that they are recorded/reported
Identify scope change onsite and escalate as required
Challenging incorrect behaviors onsite & escalate when required • Promote company policies, values, and initiatives
Personal Specification Experience and Knowledge: Essential:
Proven track record in the safe delivery of both individual contracts and programmes of work • Knowledge of Civil/Structural Projects
Experience in overseeing Subcontractors • Understanding of Site Safety Requirements • Recognize what good looks like from a quality perspective

Desirable:
Job specific knowledge & training i.e., confined space working, water industry knowledge
Basic understanding of Relevant IT Skills i.e., Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, Project, Excel. Qualifications & Attainments:
