Job DescriptionAs the leading independent holiday letting agency in the UK, specialising in marketing high-quality holiday homes, we are in search of an enthusiastic and motivated individual to lead our team of Area Managers and continue to drive our business growth.This role will be based at our head office in Cornwall but will necessitate regular travel to our regional branches.Core Responsibilities:Quality Control: Ensure the highest standards of quality for both new and existing holiday properties.Performance Management: Evaluate and enhance the performance and profitability of our properties.Compliance and Standards: Ensure our portfolio of properties adhere to health & safety and regulatory standards.Leadership: Oversee a broad team, conducting regular individual meetings and annual reviews, setting, and regularly monitoring performance goals.Operational Excellence: Organise regular property team meetings, support property visits, and address escalated queries from property owners.Talent Acquisition: Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of new team members.Brand Advocacy: Represent the brand at trade shows, conferences, and events, championing business development alongside establishing new regional branches.Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct regular market research and lead strategic planning and competitive positioning.Owner Engagement: Develop strategies to improve owner satisfaction and build long-term relationships.Financial Oversight: Lead budget management, financial planning, and cost control initiatives.Technology: Drive the adoption of digital solutions for operational efficiency.Desired Skills and Experience:Experienced Leader: Minimum five years in a leadership role within a commercial or business development environment.Industry Acumen: In-depth knowledge of the holiday letting market, including compliance and property management practices.Strategic Vision: Exceptional ability in strategic thinking, planning, and executing growth strategies.Digital and Analytical Skills: Proficient in digital tools with strong analytical capabilities to inform decision-making.Communication: Expertise in building teams, fostering a collaborative culture, and managing stakeholder relationships.Adaptable and Resilient: Skilled in managing change, resolving conflicts, and steering teams through challenges.Offering:A competitive salary of £40,000-£45,000 plus up to £10,000 OTE, including benefits such as a company car, mobile phone, life insurance, and 33 days of annual leave.
