The University of Cambridge is seeking an enthusiastic Regional Manager to support the work the Student Recruitment and Marketing team, covering the East Asia Region, within the Student Admissions and Access Office, until 31 July 2025 (in the first instance).The roleIn this role you'll lead on the development and delivery of student recruitment initiatives within East Asia. Managing relationships with stakeholders and forming new connections, you'll support prospective applicants and their supporters and influencers at undergraduate and postgraduate level.You'll also work with others in the team on non-regionally focussed projects as well as providing support and sharing best practice with University Departments to enhance their postgraduate recruitment objectives. This role involves up to 12 weeks international travel per year.The International Student Recruitment teamOur friendly and motivated team deliver a wide variety of student recruitment events and initiatives; meeting prospective applicants, their parents and guidance counsellors in order to encourage applications to Cambridge. We engage key stakeholders and manage a range of relationships.We're part of a wider Student Recruitment and Marketing team and there will be opportunities to engage fully with the work of the team, contributing to cross-team projects.You will have experience of student recruitment or student services within an educational setting. You should be able to manage your own workload and work independently whilst contributing to wider efforts as part of team. You'll have excellent communication and organisational skills. The funds for this post are available until 31 July 2025 in the first instance.Important information about the interview process:This will be a panel interview.As part of your interview, you will be asked to pre- prepare a task and to present your response to the panel.
