Regional Health and Safety AdvisorLocation: Nottingham, Coventry, Oxford or Hereford Salary: Circa £40,000 + Excellent Benefits We have been tasked with recruiting a Regional Health and Safety Advisor for a prominent supplier of fresh food across the UK. This position is dedicated to ensuring health and safety standards across six major production sites across the UK, including Nottingham, Leicester, Oxford, Hereford, and the Welsh Borders. Working closely with Site Managers, the role involves spearheading positive health and safety initiatives throughout the business. It also offers excellent opportunities for personal and career development.Responsibilities of the Regional Health and Safety Advisor will include:Ensure the site is compliant with UK legislation and in line with the overall UK strategy for Health and Safety.Engaging with members of staff at all levels across the site to improve awareness and commitment to Health and Safety issues.Managing a regular audit and inspection programme, assessing Health and Safety performance and identifying any areas of improvement.Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies as required.The successful Regional Health and Safety Advisor will have:Proven experience in a similar Health and Safety role, ideally from within am Agriculture, Food & Beverage or industrial environmentNEBOSH Certificate or equivalent (as minimum), ideally membership of a relevant body (eg.
