Job Description
We are hiring for a Regional Facilities Manager, reporting to the Director of Sustainability, encompasses two key functions: Facilities Management and Estates Management. The primary responsibilities include maintaining the physical environment of the estate, implementing facilities management strategies, and ensuring occupational solutions that maintain operational capability while minimizing business and infrastructure risks. The role is also critical in contributing to the company's Net Zero 2030 target.
This is a permanent opportunity with a salary range of £40,242 - £48,450. The ideal location would be commutable to Salisbury to work in a hybrid manner (2-3 days per week).
Key Responsibilities:
Management & Operational Maintenance: Ensure occupational solutions are delivered to maintain operational capability and eliminate high levels of risk to the business and infrastructure.
Implementation: Implement facilities management strategies, best practice guidelines, and solutions across all WA regionally occupied properties, including offices and storage units.
Leadership: Lead, engage, and develop a small team working from offices in Salisbury, and Sheffield. Coordinate and manage facilities in other regional offices in Bristol, Edinburgh, and Meopham (Kent), ensuring external providers manage facilities functions where necessary.
Work closely with key stakeholders to identify and provide a range of solutions supporting overall business requirements and the sustainability strategy.
Management & Lease Management: Ensure property leases are managed and maintained. Coordinate planned property maintenance, verify compliance with lease and rental requirements, and manage service contracts.
Work Coordination: Coordinate planned work within the facilities team or manage it externally.
Coordination: Collaborate with the Procurement Manager to ensure sourcing and purchasing of facilities and estates goods and services are of the best quality, competitively priced, and align with the sustainability strategy.
Accounting: Work with the Carbon Accounting Trainee, providing data and information, and identifying opportunities for improvement related to sustainability.
Health and Safety: Collaborate with the Occupational Health and Safety team to ensure the business fulfills its regulatory and statutory requirements, keeping people safe in their working environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Leadership and team management skills.
Exposure within Facilities and Estates Management.
Knowledge of Sustainability practices and Net Zero targets.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Able to manage multiple locations and coordinate external providers.
Understanding of property lease management and maintenance planning.
Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
