Job DescriptionDescriptionOur client, an infrastructure contractor with a focus on multi-utilities and highways, wishes to recruit a Regional Director to manage a significant P&L. The Regional Director will be responsible for strong operational performance, growing the business and creating a collaborative working environment. The contractor has great potential and is well-known within the UK market. The role would become a part of a high-quality and respected senior leadership team. With a collaborative leadership approach and a strong commercial and operational mindset, the Regional Director can make a lasting impact on this business. Responsibilities Develop the regional strategy and ensure that this is successfully implemented and delivered.Work with managers and business development teams to support the growth of the business within the region. This will include business retention and new business acquisition.Develop and maintain relationships with clients and customers.Lead operations across the region, ensuring that company targets are delivered.Hands-on leader, working closely with front line operations.RequirementsExperience leading and managing significant operational teams of 100+ staff across multiple locations.Experience of fast-paced contracting environments a must; a background in Utilities, Highways, Plant, Construction Services, Hard FM or Waste Management would suit.Strong business development skills.Track record of successful P&L management.Proven experience with business change, transformation or improving the P&L of a business or division.Strong commercial awareness.Modern leadership skills.
