DescriptionThe Regional Director of Instruction is accountable for orchestrating, advancing, marketing, scheduling, and executing golf instructional programs that surpass guest expectations. The role involves engaging guests to enhance their gameplay, elevate their skills, and enhance their overall golfing experience. Additionally, the Regional Director of Instruction oversees the development of a proficient team of instructors across multiple locations.Based out of Charles T. MyersResponsibilities and Expectations:Develop and implement a comprehensive instructional program catering to individual needs, including, but not limited to, private lessons, adult clinics, junior camps, and staff training.Efficiently manage all facets of instruction programs across four locations: Harry L. Jones, Sunset Hills, Dr. Charles Sifford, Charles T. Myers.Lead the golf instruction and player development initiatives.Responsible for the overall instruction budget, including departmental income and expenses.Collaborate with the marketing team to generate promotional materials and digital content, ensuring alignment with brand standards.Ensure consistent communication and messaging across all four locations.Provide ongoing education to teaching staff through clinics and roundtable sessions.Foster teamwork within the golf department to enhance communication and guest satisfaction across all teaching operations.Perform other duties as necessary.Candidate Profile:Reporting to the Regional General Manager, the Regional Director of Instruction will be instrumental in achieving Mecklenburg County Golf's strategic and business goals. The ideal candidate should possess the following core competencies, experience, and attributes:Leadership Skills:Dynamic leader with at least five years of experience as an instructor at a reputable, high-volume teaching operation, demonstrating a track record in hiring, training, managing instructors, and setting an example.Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach, exceptional verbal and written communication, and strong interpersonal skills.Energetic and enthusiastic about guest interaction.Proficient in building instructional programs through personal rapport, technical expertise, and utilization of technology to enhance lesson volume and guest satisfaction.Knowledgeable about equipment trends and capable of fostering mutually beneficial relationships with vendors.Education and Experience:Minimum five years of instructional experience.Class A membership status with PGA and/or LPGA
