Volunteering is a fantastic way to enhance your CV, meet new people, and learn lifesaving skills.As the Regional Clinical Education Lead, you’ll lead the delivery of the ambulance suite of qualifications, essential education, return to practice, and continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities within the ambulance role profiles in your region by leading a team of Regional Clinical Education Officers. You will work as a conduit between the clinical education team and ambulance operations to oversee the development and implementation of an effective training plan which meets the identified organisational needs in your region.Developing and managing a training plan including internal quality assurance and audit for the ambulance suite of courses and education activities in your region. Managing and supporting a team of Regional Clinical Education Officers to undertake their roles Management of training equipment in conjunction with the wider training team in your region. Acting as a conduit between the clinical education team and other relevant stakeholders across the organisation to maximise opportunities and drive collaborative working, reducing silo working and striving to be one St John. Working closely with the Regional Ambulance Leads and Regional Volunteering Managers to drive consistency across your region by establishing shared objectives, risk mitigations, and sharing best practice. Take part in, and where appropriate lead, collaborative working groups to drive improvement, solve problems and produce solutions for issues across the region and share outcomes for the benefit of the wider organisation, ensuring are all supported, empowered, and have autonomy locally. Act as liaison between volunteer and employed managers, HR, and safeguarding teams to address people-related issues such as wellbeing concerns or conflict and ensure that these are dealt with efficiently and in accordance with SJA policies, whether informal or formal in nature. Represent the clinical education team directly and indirectly at regional and national levels, and where required, represent the team externally.
