The person holding this position will report to the VP of Global Operations Consumer Healthcare and be a member of the Consumer Healthcare team.The core responsibility of the of Regional Business Manager role is to support the countries in scope to achieve set objectives and fulfil strategy: the RBM is a key contributor to cascade the strategic direction into to the countries and drive executional excellence together with the Brand Leads.The RBM is a connector: the role serves a top-down as well as a bottom-up approach by being the partner of direct countries for global brands and by being the voice-of-countries within the global categories. Identify opportunities to maximize business opportunities and share best practices to leverage synergies is a key role of the RBMThe RBM must have a strong combination of commercial competences and interpersonal and communication skills, with strong financial acumen, and demonstrate a high level of support to the countries. The RBM works as a facilitator and guiding support to the Country leads and must have a strong orientation to country results, whilst contributing to the global strategy with local valuable input. RequirementsEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIESFinancial Management• Fully accountable for Region P&L and for identifying areas for efficiency, considering all lines in the P&L: propose the best allocation of resources in the regions, to maximize returns and opportunities• Demonstrate ownership and deliver the KPIs covering financial performance vs budget, market share and key identified projects in line with the CHC ambition• support the countries in defining and achieving sales and profit targets across the consumer healthcare portfolio and/or countries in scope• timely share and manage risks and opportunities with VP Commercial Operations and propose corrective measures when neededCommercial Management• support the countries in developing and executing the winning commercial strategy for each country or region• support the countries in identifying the most suitable partner for local execution, including (1) recruiting 3rd party partners, (2) negotiation of the legal contractual and commercial aspects of the contract, ensuring a pay-for-performance model is applied that delivers a positive ROI (3) delivery of agreed targets • make sure the local execution and implementation follow global guidelines, including:
the local execution of Trade strategy implementing the guidelines in BSM, track gaps and propose corrective measures Provide tools to enable the local teams to function effectively Consumer Marketing• support the localization of global strategy and identify local opportunities for market share development• Evaluate the plan implementation against the agreed KPI• have a deep understanding of local market dynamics and trends. Develop the needed Market Research Plan• identify synergies across countriesPeople Management:• Identify talent in the region and support the building of a strong, results-oriented, winning teamBe an active member of the Global Commercial Operations team:• Collaborate with headquarters and other local functions: CHC Marketing, CHC T&S, CHC Digital, regulatory, supply chain and other operational departments. • Contribute to the development of annual and longer-term business plans; Feedback and share best practices that will feed the Global Brand Plan and Trade&Shopper Plan• Timely share and manage risks and opportunities with the VP of Commercial Operations and propose corrective measures when needed• share scalable best practices with the other regions and support the deployment where possibleCompliance:• Be fully compliant with Norgine compliance policies and support the countries in adhering to Norgine compliance policies.
