The Council’s Regeneration, Investment and Development Office (RIDO) takes the lead on the development and delivery of all place making and infrastructure regeneration projects in the Borough. Several exciting opportunities have now arisen for exceptional Project Support Officers to play a role in shaping the local economy and delivering benefits to our communities.
The successful candidates will be engaging, resilient and resourceful, a skilled Project Support Officer able to act independently with the ability to take ownership of a varied workload including administrative support and coordination across a range of projects. You will have experience of recording information and maintaining accurate records using a range of resources and a good awareness of the political context in which the team operates.
As a Regeneration Project Support Officer you will work with colleagues across the Council and alongside key partners including the Mayoral Combined Authority to support development and delivery against the Council’s range of regeneration of projects. You will work on various stages of project development including preparing plans, submitting capital project applications and monitoring progress from inception to completion to ensure delivery targets are met.
You will work collaboratively across the team in the delivery of common goals, building and maintaining effective relationships with peers in a similar environment.
