Our client is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Refuse Loaders. As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in collecting and disposing of domestic and commercial waste, contributing to a cleaner and greener community.

Working alongside a small team, you will have the chance to work in different local areas each day. No two days will be the same, ensuring variety and a change of scenery. ️

Your responsibilities as a Refuse Loader include:

Moving bags, wheelie bins, and recycling bins and boxes.
Utilising a lifting mechanism to tip the waste from bins into the lorry.
Throwing plastic bags into the back of the lorry.
Operating the truck's hydraulic system to crush the waste effectively.
Sorting recyclable materials at the kerbside.
Safely guiding the driver through the streets.
Reporting any issues with waste collections.
Assisting with unloading the waste at designated facilities.

To excel in this role, you must be physically fit, as you will be expected to lift and dispose of heavy objects and items. Operating the truck's hydraulic system will also be part of your daily tasks.
