CR Smith is a family run manufacturing business, employing over 350 staff across the country. Scotland’s number one home improvement specialist and with over 50 years’ experience, it is an established and well-trusted household brand. In addition to our domestic market, CR Smith Manufacturing provides a full range of manufacturing, installation, refurbishment and maintenance services to the commercial market - local authorities, housing associations and housebuilders, who also require both product and service reliability.

Due to extensive expansion across our commercial business, we are now looking for a highly motivated and ambitious recruitment specialist to join our growing team in Dunfermline, however focusing on the whole of Scotland. Working directly for the Senior Recruitment Manager and wider director team, this could be the ideal opportunity for someone with previous agency experience looking to transition to an internal recruitment role and work for a leading Scottish brand. You will be managing various senior recruitment campaigns, primarily across the commercial division in all of our Scottish sites therefore a full UK driver’s licence is required

*We are looking for an enthusiastic and focussed individual who can:*
* Work closely with senior management, the board of directors and hiring managers to identify business requirements
* Create innovative job descriptions and advise on alternative methods of recruitment
* Advertise roles, review applications and undertake thorough candidate screening and assessments in addition to technical tests where necessary.
* Proactively identify and engage passive candidates for hard-to-fill roles, utilising creative approaches to attract talent.
* Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry partnerships.
* Work with colleagues across the company, including marketing and technical teams, to build professional networks and promote employer brand

*The ideal candidate will have:*
* Experience of senior appointment recruitment, preferably in a technical, construction or manufacturing environment (agency or in-house)
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form and build relationships both internally and externally – daily interaction with CEO and wider board therefore strong communication and reporting skills are essential
* High levels of enthusiasm, bringing fresh ideas to promote our well established employer brand
* Proven track record in attracting and retaining top talent across Scotland

*The Rewards:*

· Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 ( negotiable dependent on experience)
