Job DescriptionAt CICD – College for International Co-operation and Development – we offer a number of innovative programmes, open for people from all walks of life and with different background and nationality. The focus is on environmental protection and sustainable development.We currently offer two volunteer programmes (10 vs 12 months) that include a 6 mths service period in Southern Africa (mostly Malawi or Zambia) and a 7 month Climate Activist programme that includes 3 month volunteering in the Caribbean, and also a scholarship programme.We are looking for a Recruitment & Communication Officer to join our Communications team at the college, to spread our message and enroll the future students.If you are an enthusiastic and goal-oriented team player, with a lot of positive energy, we look forward to hear from you!As a Recruitment & Communication Officer, you will:Share information about our programmes online, presenting the school's values and messages, and connect with interested peopleHave meetings with individuals as well as with groups, presenting the programmes online or in personGet to know the programmes and the college very well, and create a solid plan to reach your goalsHandle the full recruitment process from A-Z with potential students, securing a professional yet personal procedureCollaborate well with the team in the enrolment office in continuously improving the recruitment processOrganise presentations about our programmes at schools, universities and organisations around UKTo succeed in this position, you need:A driving license and car to commute, as we are ½ hour drive outside of Hull.As we cannot provide sponsorship or work visa, you need to be a UK / Irish citizen or have settled or pre-settled status in UK, to be eligible to apply.At least 3 years of experience with marketing, sales or HRExcellent writing skillsExcellent speaking and presentation skillsNot required, but a big plus: to speak one or two other languages apart from English.
