The selected individual will complete business-as-usual activities around reconciliations. A good understanding of the full trade lifecycle in traditional asset classes and the reconciliation of that activity will be required.This role will require full-time attendance at our Dering Street office.Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate should be eager to learn and able to understand new systems. A positive attitude towards making things better, good organizational skills, and a careful eye for detail will help you succeed in our team.Duties/ResponsibilitiesComplete daily reconciliation of cash and trade transactionsEnsure that any breaks are promptly identified and resolvedWork closely with wider functions to address any discrepancies or issuesAssist with the completion of departmental reporting Qualification & Experience Minimum 1-year reconciliations experience from a cash or securities trading backgroundKnowledge of Safeguarding / CASS and wider regulatory frameworkFamiliarity with reconciliation software and platformsDemonstration of software/platform implementation experience would be highly beneficialA “can do” attitude and a positive disposition to changeProficient at establishing credibility quickly and building relationships with a range of stakeholdersAbility to communicate effectively (both oral and written)Good level of excel and data management skillsPossess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to think independently and draw conclusionsLearning mind-set and willingness to develop key skills and competencies Benefits of working at GC Partners Workplace pension – employer contributions25 days of holiday per year, plus bank holidaysEmployee assistance programmeA truly global business with opportunities for growthPlus additional benefitsAt GC Partners, we value diversity and inclusivity.
