Receptionist

Location: Clifton Park TC, York

Hours: 30 hours per week, Part-time (Shift Pattern)

Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits

Summary:

Clifton Park Hospital opened in 2006 and is located just outside York. The modern purpose built hospital has been rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has first-class medical facilities including 24 beds, two theatres, a day case unit, a large outpatient department with X-ray facilities and on-site physiotherapy, including a small gym area. In 2018, the hospital opened a new outpatient department with 11 consulting rooms, two treatment rooms and x-ray facilities.

The role:

We currently have a great opportunity for a Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Clifton Park Hospital based in York.

As the Receptionist you will be working within a busy Reception team you will cover at our main hospital site and also the out-patient site.

Task will include - meeting and greeting of patients and visitors and registering them for their surgery or outpatient appointment. Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries into the hospital. Administration tasks appropriate to the role.

Hours and days of work will be:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with Tuesday being your day off.

The job requires you being able to work on a variety of shift patterns.

These are:

7.00 am until 3.00 pm

12 noon until 8.00 pm

9.00 am until 5.00 pm

10.00 am until 6.00 pm

Shifts are worked on a 5 week rota. There will be the expectation that you would work one Saturday shift (7.00 am until 3.00 pm) in ten.
