A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RECEPTION TEAM LEADER AT THE PRINCIPAL YORK.
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following:
Managing the Front Office Team during check-in and check-out times, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests.
Serve as duty manager as needed, taking responsibility for the smooth operation of the hotel during designated shifts and handling any emergencies or incidents that may arise.
Address complex issues, which have been escalted from the Front Office Team.
Assist the Front Office Manager with any administration tasks such as responding to reviews, email correspondence, additional requirements and special guest requests.
Collaborate closely with the Front Office Manager, to identify opportunities for enhancing guest experiences and ensuring service excellence, including managing and resolving complex guest issues.
Working the variety of Front Office Shifts - including mornings, evenings and nights.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of Reception Team Leader, you will need the following qualities and skills.
Experience of working on reception in a medium to large hotel.
Delivering a high level of Customer Service
Experience of supervising a small team (preferable)
Experience of working with Opera (preferable)
