Readiness, Testing and Exercise Specialist

As a Readiness, Testing and Exercise Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the preparedness and effectiveness of Sky in facing various challenges and crises. You will be responsible for designing, planning, executing, and evaluating a range of tests and exercises aimed at assessing and improving the resilience of our systems, processes, and personnel. This role demands a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and senior leadership.
What you'll do:
Own, manage and support the delivery of the Emergency Readiness and Response exercise programme.
Support with the implementation of the readiness and response strategy by helping to shape and deliver key strategic documentation
Be part of the on-call rota for responding to serious incidents and emergencies.
Design realistic and challenging tabletop, functional, and full-scale exercises that simulate various crisis situations.
What you'll bring:
You have excellent communication skills with the ability to interface at all levels; confident, capable and credible in front of senior partners.
You have an excellent understanding of how to run a successful exercise and can demonstrate the value it adds.
Strong problem solver, able to analyse and understand issues, problems or challenges and develop solutions to them.
Has the proven ability to think outside of the box, challenge industry norms and adapt quickly to evolving requirements.
Strong stakeholder management, relationship building, influencing, facilitating, and presenting skills at every level of business.
Works iteratively, at a high tempo, delivering quickly and frequently to produce high quality documents and outputs which require little to no rework.
Is calm under pressure and can execute clear command & control measures in stressful situations.
