About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Raw Materials Technologist to join a leading FMCG manufacturer. With one day working from home based in the heart of the Peak District, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of raw materials used in this company's manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage raw material specifications and documentation.
* Conduct supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any raw material issues.
* Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
* Support new product development initiatives by providing technical expertise.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry is key.
* Strong knowledge of raw material specifications and quality standards.
* Experience working with retailers is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Eligibility to permanently work in the UK.
