The business in the UK and Europe generates revenues of over £280 million.Job DescriptionThe RM Planner plays a fundamental role in ensuring that production schedules are met by purchasing the necessary raw materials in a timely manner. The RM planner supports the MRP function in executing the daily MRP tasks and working in conjunction with Production Planning and the Lead RM Planner to determine the resources necessary to meet the production schedule and to ensure timely arrivals of raw materials into the factory to avoid operational downtime. In addition, This role also requires day to day management of the Product Master Data of Raw Material and Finished Goods codes.Key AccountabilitiesMonitor inventory levels against forecast and place orders to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials to manufacture the product along with adequate safety stocks without exceeding working capital constraintsMonitor deliveries to ensure supplier compliance to delivery schedule.Process MRP and ensure timely order placement for all purchase orders.Monitor bulk tanks each day ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.Checking expected deliveries daily and making adjustments to the delivery schedule based upon amendments to the production plan.Updating ERP system (IFS) with BOM’s via the product specification documents.Attend regular NPD meetings to update and escalate any raw materials issuesManagement of Master Data – from Raw Material to Finished Goods codesKey MeasuresMaintaining adequate stock levels in line with safety stocksStock outagesRaw material working capitalObsoletion managementQualificationsQualifications/ExperienceExperience in FMCG material planning – desirableExperience with ERP systems in FMCG – desirableOrganised and methodicalStrong Analytical skills/numerateAbility to work with large amounts of complex data and analyse trendsGood general IT skills - MS Excel is extremely desirableMaths or Business qualifications an advantageAdditional InformationWhat we offer you in returnUp to £40,000.00Matched pension scheme up to 10%Death in serviceCycle to work schemeCanteenAnd plenty more!This role is to cover Maternity, 12 month fixed term contract.
