We are representing a thriving food manufacturer in Northamptonshire who is actively looking to expand their procurement team. If you have experience in buying within the FMCG sector and thrive in dynamic environments, this role could be the perfect fit for you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and procure raw materials and ingredients to meet production requirements.
* Utilise your negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and maintain quality standards.
* Stay informed about market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal teams such as NPD to support new product development initiatives.
* Manage inventory levels to optimise stock and minimise waste.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in FMCG procurement is highly desirable.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.
* Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges.
* Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
