(Apply online only) Subject to experience Location: London- South East Summary- An opportunity has become available for a highly skilled and motivated Telecoms Design Engineer specialising in Station Information and Surveillance Systems (SISS). As a Telecoms Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced telecommunications systems, with a focus on SISS solutions for key transportation and infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities:
Produce Telecoms SISS transmission and network designs in accordance with requirements.
Attendance at meetings with clients, senior management, sub-contractors and internal project teams.
To ensure delegated areas of the contract are completed to meet legislation and relevant standards.
Liaise with telecoms technicians and design, install and test staff, and additional collaboration with signalling design and installation teams.
Essential requirements:
Significant experience in designing Telecoms SISS Stations. Rail Telecoms design experience- preferred as a CRE. Proficiency in SISS technologies, CCTV systems, PHP, CIS and PAVA, networking protocols and telecommunications infrastructure.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
