Interim Radio Planning Engineer with strong experience of ATOLL and propagation model ITU-528 -3 is required for immediate start.
Your new role
Supporting the delivery of different BT programs such as Air-To-Ground. Reporting on the coverage improvements within BT Network for all technologies (2G, 4G, 5G). Providing HO with BT planning Data on a regular bases. Supporting the business with new coverage opportunity evaluation. Actual and forecasted Coverage Reporting across multiple technologies. Governance around Coverage guideline and Radio emission compliance. What you'll need to succeed
Your background will need to be from a technology related organisation and would ideally be from a telco, communication or wireless background. More than 5 years in the radio planning space. Experience in planning small cells.
Strong experience of using tools for radio planning analysis such as ATOLL with particular focus on Automatic Cell Planning module. Experience in using visualisation tools sush as QGIS or ARCGIS for more complex data elaboration. Good experience of mobile Radio antenna configurations. Experience with coding such as Python language or similar and GIS data analysis skills. Experience in PCI/RSI planning. Experience with Radio network compliance (ICNIRP, GA drawings). Experience with Coverage modelling for all technologies 2G/3G/4G/5G. Experience with propagation model ITU-528 -3 is desired- (if not then should be ready to learn) What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available. This role is a 6 month contract and is paying £471 per day.
