Radio Design Engineer

Our client, a leading engineering company in the rail communications sector, is currently seeking a talented Radio Design Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major railway station infrastructure project and contribute to the development of cutting-edge radio systems.

• Designing and developing radio frequency (RF) systems for rail communications
• Conducting RF tests to ensure the performance and reliability of radio systems
• Working closely with the project team to understand and meet design requirements
• Identifying and resolving any technical issues or challenges during the design process
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate radio systems into the overall infrastructure
• Providing support and guidance to junior engineers
• Keeping up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in RF technology

• Significant experience in radio frequency (RF) design and testing
• Expertise in radio communications systems within the rail industry
• Knowledge of in-station radio antennas and leaky feeder radio systems
• Proficiency in using RF design software and testing equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
