R&D Support Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an R&D Support Engineer to join this growing organisation, specialising in the design and manufacture of lighting solutions, based in Kent.

The main aim of this role will be to support the R&D Department; Electronics Firmware and Mechanical Design teams with prototype assembly, testing and quality checking of electro-mechanical lighting products developed and supplied into the construction market.

Skills/Experience required for the role of R&D Support Engineer:

- Knowledge/Understanding of Hardware, Software or Mechanical Design, within lighting would be a bonus!

- Ideally have a degree in one an Electronics or Mechanical Discipline

- Looking for exposure to electro-mechanical product development and getting hands on

- Experience in soldering would be highly beneficial but is not essential

- Enthusiastic and willing to learn
