R & D Project Manager

GXPeople have partnered with a Medical Device Manufacturer in their search for a R & D Project Manager to join the team at their Manchester headquarters.

You will be part of innovative company who are at the forefront of their therapeutic area and the first ones to have developed these types of devices.

In the position you will be responsible the management and oversight of a number of existing and new medical device development programs. The person will be responsible for coordinating internal and external resources to design, develop and transfer new products to manufacture.

To be successful in this role you will have 3-5 years of working in a medical device design and development environment.

Salary on offer is competitive and dependant on experience. Along with Benefits there is a yearly bonus on offer.

Responsibilities:

• Market research to develop User Requirement Specifications


• Creation of design and product specifications


• Verification and Validation


• Manufacturing transfer and process validation


• Managing suppliers/manufacturers


• Tracking costs and managing budgets

Essential Experience:

• 3-5 years of medical device design and development experience


• Proven R&D Project Management track record


• Familiarity with ISO13485 and design control processes
