Quantity Surveyors & Senior Quantity Surveyors - Renewable Energy

Our global renewables consultancy is growing at a phenomenal rate, they are hiring a significant number of experienced Quantity Surveyors throughout 2024. They will consider applications from candidates with 3 years plus post grad experience up to associate director level to join a dynamic team in their offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of renewable major projects across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of cost relating to renewables major projects in alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
Provide expert advice on cost estimation, contract administration, and procurement strategies.
Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts.
Utilise NEC experience to effectively navigate contracts and mitigate risks associated with project delivery.
Lead a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying
Chartered status is advantageous but not essential
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in renewable energy projects, preferably within a consultancy environment.
In-depth knowledge of NEC contracts and relevant industry regulations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and project teams.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams and delivering results.
Benefits:
Salary is depending on experience, you can expect to be paid up to £75,000
