Quantity Surveyor

O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a Fit Out Contrcator contractor based in Stockport. Candidates MUST  have a minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor Role. 

The Role:

•    Produce accurate quotations for tenders.

•    Carry out measures of tender and secured projects.

•    Procure and order plant and materials.

•    Produce monthly cost reports.

•    Produce monthly valuations for projects.

•    Price changes on live projects.

•    Compile final accounts on projects.

•    Building and maintain strong relationships with customers

Requirements:

•    QS Degree, HND and or construction related qualification.

•    Knowledge or experience of Drylining, Drywall and interiors is essential.

•    Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages e.g. Excel, Word etc..

•    Exposure and working knowledge to resolving disputes

•    Proficient knowledge of measurement and valuation.

•    Good knowledge of standard forms of contract.

•    Proficient in reading drawings, specifications and knowledge of construction
