The role - Quantity Surveyor
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be working on a large high-rise development in the centre of Manchester which consists of 1 high rise tower going up to 45 stories, commercial units and a sub-basement car park.
You will be reporting into the Senior QS and Commercial Manager overseeing the project and will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Preparation of bills and/or schedules for quantities of materials, labour and services required in the construction and refurbishment of building works in relation to both Estimating and Post contract duties.
  • Assisting with the preparation of CVR reports.
  • Preparation and valuation of progress and submission to client.
  • Sub-contract procurement.
  • Sub-contract valuations and payments in connection with any contract.


Required skills/experience:

  • Have a degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
  • At least 2-5 years post graduate experience.
  • Have a strong main contracting background.
  • This role is ideal for a driven and passionate person who is able to work within a fast paced Tier 1 environment.
