Commercial Specialist (Quantity Surveyor)
Location: Falmer, West Sussex
Salary: up to £55,000 depending on experience
Hours: 37 hours per week / Hybrid Approac
Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role in managing costs for infrastructure projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Estimate and monitor project costs for infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to budgets.
Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids from contractors and suppliers for infrastructure works.
Assist in contract administration for infrastructure projects, including variations and claims.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions for infrastructure projects.
Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with infrastructure projects.
Provide regular reports on project costs and financial performance for infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with project teams to achieve objectives and deadlines for infrastructure projects.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers involved in infrastructure projects.
