Job DescriptionQuantity Surveyor - Developer £50,000 - £60,000 + Package Main DutiesSub-contract Procurement and Account ManagementThe timely placement of sub-contract orders in line with procurement schedule and commercial parameters and opportunities.Regular assessment of work, variation assessment and payment recommendation in line with Sub-contract conditions.External ValuationsTimely submissions in accordance with Contract requirements to maximise profit and cash flow.Financial ReportingRegular reporting of accurate cost value reconciliations and forecasting.Identifying risks and making recommendations as to how risk can be overcome.Identifying and exploiting fully opportunitiesContractual MattersPromptly and fully address all contractual matters to protect the Company’s position at all times.RelationshipsDevelop and foster collaborative working relationships with Client, Client Representatives, Supply Chain and internal Teams.Ensure the safe working practices are adopted and followed throughout in accordance with current legislation and Group Policy and ProceduresRegularly review all works in progress, specifically to ensure all health and safety procedures are being followed.What they would like from youBehave in line with their company values – Integrity, Caring and QualityBSC Hons Quantity Surveying12 months experience at QS levelShould ideally have worked at a similar level within a Construction or Residential organisation.Demonstrable strong account management and commercial experienceSub-contract Payment recommendationSub-contract Order recommendationInterim Valuation submission and Final Account recommendationStrong team player, with the entrepreneurial ability to operate and excel in a changing on-site environment.Well-developed analytical, oral and presentation / communication skills
