Quantity Surveyor - Planned Maintenance
Hertfordshire and London- Hybrid
Salary �45,000- �60,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Package

We are working with a leading Social Housing / Property Services Contractor to recruit an experienced and successful Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Hertfordshire to help deliver projects across North West London acting as the main contractor working alongside Housing Associations and Local Authorities. You will be working on Social Housing Decarbonisation Fun (SHDF) works and this could also suit a strong Assistant Quantity Surveyor wanting to make a step up.

You will take responsibility, ownership, and accountability of the successful management and control of all aspects of the commercial/financial and contractual elements of the works to control and maximise the company's profitability, protect the company's legal and contractual obligations under the contract, and manage all day to day commercial issues.

Quantity Surveyor Key responsibilities:

• Managing subcontractor packages
• Subcontractor negotiation
• Cost value reconciliation
• Producing cost reports
• Subcontractor payments/processing applications for payments
• Valuations
• Variations
• Final accounts

Quantity Surveyor Essential experience:

• Degree or other technical qualification
• Strong commercial awareness
• Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor
• Experience delivering planned maintenance works
