Quantity Surveyor

My client are an award-winning roofing contractor delivering projects nationwide. They provide all types of roofing solutions including installations and planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sectors including commercial, industrial, leisure, healthcare, education, and retail.

They have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team and work on a range of newly secured roofing projects across the North West.

The role:

• As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll have an opportunity to learn and develop your career in the Quantity Surveying field. You'll be working on a range of roofing projects, helping to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget.
• Your duties will include reviewing project costs for accuracy and addressing any discrepancies. Evaluating, pricing, negotiating, and finalising budgets and costs for project scope changes, and developing and maintaining procurement schedules.
• Furthermore, you'll play a vital role in meticulously preparing bills of quantities and schedules of works to facilitate accurate project pricing.
• This position offers a dynamic environment where you can hone your skills and contribute meaningfully to project success.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
