My client are a Specialist Facade Contractor.
Having grown steadily over the last 20+ years they have established an excellent reputation with some of the biggest names in the construction industry.
HQ based in Essex.
The Role - Quantity Surveyor - RICS Accredited
My client are looking for a proactive, organised Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Lead to join them, in their HQ in Essex.
Office based role (minimal site visits)
My client can offer x2 days working from home, with x3 in the office.
My client are seeking a Quantity Surveyor who is RICS accredited.
You will have excellent knowledge on construction contract review/negotiations (JCT and NEC).
Work closely with the estimating team in reviewing at the tender stage and being involved in the pre-contract stage.
Liaison between the estimating team and the projects team at the handover stage.
Working closely with senior managers and directors.
Ensure that all risks are identified and minimised on all contracts. Measure and agreement with client.
This is a new role standalone role for the company, so has the opportunity to really make a difference and upskill the company in relation to contract knowledge.
You will need:
A formal QS qualification
Commercially acum
Based in a commutable distance to the office.
