Quantity Surveyor

Fawkes and Reece are working with a client who are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor in Bedfordshire.
Established over 30 years ago, our client has vast experience in groundworks, substructure & superstructure activities within the commercial, residential, educational and health care sectors of the industry. They have the direct labour and plant resources to deliver the most complex and challenging construction projects having successfully delivered a large number of projects over the years ranging in value from �250,000 to �(phone number removed).
The client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to look after several projects within London & the Home counties. In this role typically you be responsible for the financial management of 3-4 projects, carrying out monthly valuations, pricing variations & ensuring the job is executed to the contract documentation. The job is generally site based but you will be expected to be in the office 1-2 days a week.
They are looking for candidates with 5+ years quantity surveying experience with a sub contractor or PQS ideally working on concrete structures and/or groundworks. The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree/OND/HND in construction or quantity surveying or similar. You must have a car & full UK driving licence to be considered for the role.
