Quantity Surveyor

This is an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a thriving business who have close to �1bn turnover and operate across Essex and the South of the UK.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

Your role as Quantity Surveyor will be to wok as part of a commercial team on a multi-phase RC Frame residential projects and support the commercial team on new build RC Frame residential projects, managing packages from procurement through to final accounting. Working with the team to ensure subcontractors are managed on site, CVRs, review drawing, remeasure and ensure cost management

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor

The company are looking for a candidate who has experience with a RC Frame developer or a Main contractor and been involved with packages from procurement. Who ideally can remeasure from site against initial drawing and who is a motivated is keen to join a business and learn with experienced staff and who ideally have the following:

• Degree in a construction related subject
• Minimum of 4 years experience on a similar project
• Competent in managing subcontractor packages and payments

The company are a well established developer who specialise in the construction on new build RC frame and traditional build homes. With projects up to 1000 units and include complex infrastructure. They are a 5 star house builder with units ranging from studios to 5 bed houses. They work with local authorities and work collaboratively to transform communities.
