Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team in Lanarkshire. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in our construction projects, managing costs and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.

As part of this role, you'll be:

• Manage project costs from inception to completion


• Conduct cost analysis and prepare budgets


• Prepare tender and contract documents


• Evaluate and negotiate contractor and supplier bids


• Track and monitor project expenses


• Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders


• Identify cost-saving opportunities

Ideally, you'll have:

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience


• Strong knowledge of mainstream construction processes and practices


• Experience with costing and first principles


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


• Effective communication and negotiation abilities


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
